Last night as I was on my way out to Deadwood to go hang out with Aaron, I almost ran over a cyclist. I was stopped at the bottom of my hill, looking for traffic so I could make a right-hand turn onto the main road. As soon as I let my foot off the brake and start moving forward, there's a bicycle right in front of me! Scare the shit out of me, because I wasn't looking for BIKERS at almost midnight! The thing was, he wasn't using the sidewalk, like you're supposed to...he was driving down the road, and came out from behind some parked cars on the side of the road. Then another one darted out in front of me right after that, but I was still too shocked from the first one and wasn't trying to go anywhere at that time.
I'm trying to work on a paper, one for my Government class, and nothing's coming to me. It's about the effects that September 11th, 2001 had on politics and public policy. It only has to be 1,000 words long, but I'm having a hard time finding sources for it because it's pretty recent and there aren't really a lot of books about it at the library, so I'm having to look for everything online. Hard to find good sources online sometimes.

In Vegas the bikers are supposed to use the roads and we have to be aware of them all the time. It can get a little messed up. I would say that a biker is hurt at least once or twice a week. I'm glad you missed him.
Sorry I have not posted a comment lately, part of the working on Audra thing...
they're SUPPOSED to use the roads? that's just gay. especially at midnight when they're not required to wear some kind of headlight on their bike because this isn't a huge "bike" town like portland, oregon is or something like that. growl. just glad i didn't hit him. my car doesn't need any more dents, and i don't need a lawsuit...
